About Augustana :: Our Pastors

Senior Pastor Mark R. Aune is a graduate of Augsburg College in Minneapolis and Luther Seminary in St. Paul. In 1986, Pastor Aune was ordained and then served United Lutheran Church in Gilbert, Minnesota.

In 1989, he accepted the call to Augustana as an Associate Pastor and in 2002, he became Senior Pastor. Pastor Aune is responsible for overall administration, pastoral care, teaching, finance, stewardship, global mission, and planning. Email Pastor Aune

Pastor Megan Torgerson is a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and graduated from Luther Seminary in St. Paul in 2006.

In 2007, Megan was awarded a Preaching Fellowship from Luther Seminary and spent a year studying in Rome and London. She accepted her first call to Augustana in September, 2008.

Megan is responsible for Children, Youth, and Family Ministries as well as Confirmation. She lives with her husband Chris in St. Paul. Email Pastor Megan

Intern Ingrid Rasmussen grew up in Cottonwood, MN and attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD where she studied government, philosophy, and religion. After graduating from college, she worked for two years at a health care clinic for underserved persons in Sioux Falls. She then moved to Atlanta, GA with her husband, Paul, to complete a Master of Divinity degree at Candler School of Theology at Emory University. She is currently completing a Master of Theology degree at Luther Seminary in St. Paul. Email Ingrid
