The Augustana prayer ministry invites you to Pause to Pray with our faith community twice each day, at 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. Weekly blessing from the Augustana Prayer team. Dear Lord, I am prepared to confess that I am the ‘person on the mat’ waiting for forgiveness and healing. I give thanks for friends in my faith community who bring me into your presence with no complaining—only love and concern. Because you have forgiven and healed me, I accept your challenge to stand up, go home, leave the past behind, and do good in the world. Thanks be to God, I will follow You. Amen.
