April 8 - Julie Weisenhorn, Regional Extension Educator - Landscape Design, Department of Horticulture Science, University of MN will discuss garden design.

May 13 - Mary Beth Gullickson, Container Designer for Bachmans will discuss container gardening. Augustana member, Elaine Spurr will also share important information about protecting your skin while gardening. Join us for a salad buffet prior to the program. Small fee for dinner.

YogaDevotion

Tuesdays, 6:30 to 7:30 pm

April 1 to June 3, 2008 - 10 sessions

Cost: $65.00 per session

These classes are taught by experienced YogaDevotion instructors. The classes focus on breathing, lengthening, and stretching muscles, all in a Christian atmosphere.

Third Wednesday of each month at 11:30 am

Join this group for a light lunch and lively conversation and a variety of inspirational programs on Aging Gracefully.

Men of all ages are invited to join this group for discussions of timely topics.

SENIOR MINISTRY
(September to May)
Augustana has a very active Seniors Group that meets throughout the program year for monthly luncheons and special events and trips.

Senior Luncheon: First Tuesday of the month, 12:00 noon
Join approximately 80 of Augustana's Senior Citizens for lunch and a special program.

Small Group ministry
A variety of small groups are offered throughout the year. These groups may be Bible studies, or interest/fellowship groups like memoir writing, fly fishing, bridge, etc. The following is a description of the small groups that meet each month.

Knitting/Needlework Ministry

Stamping Ministry
Third Monday of the month, September to May
12:30 to 2:30 pm and 7:00 to 8:30 pm
