organGLATTER-GÖTZ/ROSALES ORGAN
Augustana's Glatter-Götz/Rosales pipe organ was installed in 2005. The design and building of the organ was a collaboration of several experts:

Builders: Caspar von Glatter-Götz with Stefan Sturzer, Germany
Tonal designer and voicer: Manuel Rosales, Los Angeles, CA
Case designer: Graham Tristram, Scotland
Acoustical work in the sanctuary: Dana Kirkegaard, Chicago, IL

These individuals have worked together on organ projects in the U.S, Europe, Scotland, Russia and Norway. The large organ in the new Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles is a Glatter-Götz' and Rosales' collaboration. The Augustana organ is their first instrument in the Midwest.

Augustana's organ is a large two-manual instrument with 39 stops, mechanical key action and electric stop action, with a state-of-the-art memory system.
