Confirmation Age Youth - Grades 7-9
Confirmation Wednesday evenings, 5:50 to 7:00 pm (September to May)
Confirmation, (Celebrate and Proclaim or CAP) is a high tech mix of large group instruction and small group process that allows students and their families to learn about faith together as they move toward affirming faith which occurs at Augustana in the Fall of the tenth grade year. One of the unique features of our program is Lenten Mentoring which matches each student with an adult mentor during Lent for 6 weeks of faith-based discussion and learning. This one program has done wonders to break down barriers between youth and adults in the congregation
