My Giving Plan

Definition:
Your giving plan informs Augustana what financial gift you intend to share in 2012 so that we can plan for how God's love, through your gifts, will be shared within our community and beyond. In gratitude for God's gifts to you, please use one of the options below to complete your giving plan. The church's missional outreach is based ONLY on these giving intentions. Your giving plan will be kept confidential.

How much should I give?

Our giving to the Lord is to be proportionate, laying something aside, each giver is to give 'something' according to the ability with which the Lord has blessed each person.

How can I work toward being a more faithful giver?

Once we establish the importance of giving to God first, we need to set up practical ways to ensure that we are faithful in our resolve. Often we have good intentions, but are tripped up in our method of giving.

My Giving Plan 2012

Not everyone can give equally, but most can give a percentage of their financial resources. Begin with the question, "How has God blessed me?" instead of "What does the church require?" Then make the decision to return a proportion or percentage to God in obedience and gratitude. 2 Corinthians 8. We have members that give 2%, 5%, 10% and more.
